Sofitel Sydney Wentworth hotel
61-101 Phillip Street,
Sydney NSW 2000
Sofitel Sydney Wentworth is an iconic 1960s architectural landmark and is Sydney’s first luxury hotel.
A classical chic design in the heart of the shopping and entertainment district, Sofitel Sydney Wentworth is only a stone’s throw from famous attractions including the Opera House, Circular Quay, Darling Harbour, The Rocks and Royal Botanic Gardens.
Kingsford Smith airport is 12 km from the hotel and is around a 30 minutes taxi ride to the hotel. A paying shuttle bus service is available from Sydney Domestic and International Airports in front of the Arrivals Hall.
Alternatively, we recommend you take the Train for direct, convenient access to the hotel from the airport and most other locations. There is a Train Station located at both the Sydney Domestic and International Airports with a direct line to the City. Exit the train at Martin Place Station (0.2km walk to the hotel) or Wynyard Station (0.3km walk to the hotel).
From the airport, take Southern Cross Drive towards the city and continue until you pass through the tollgates. Then take the Macquarie Street exit. At the Macquarie Street traffic lights drive straight across into Bent Street, go straight ahead at the intersection with Phillip Street and then turn left into Bligh Street. The entrance to the car park is on the left-hand side.
